Dressmaking Basics

Course Description

This 6 week course of 2 hour sessions will allow you to progress your dressmaking skills. You can work from a pattern in our workshop or you can bring your own project.

This class is suitable if you’re a beginner dressmaker or if you’re a more experienced sewer who wants guidance with a specific project or techniques. It is specifically designed so you can enjoy learning how to sew your own clothes with help and support. We can all learn from each other as techniques and tips are shared each evening.

Prior to the start of your class we’ll contact you to see whether you’d like to bring your own pattern and to make sure it’s a suitable level, or whether you’d like to follow one of ours. I am happy to provide guidance on patterns and fabrics in preparation for the class.
